Dr. Gábor Győri and his wife Gabi are parents of 9 children and they are a wonderful Christian family. Gábor practiced as a doctor in Hungary for 23 years, of which 18 years as a general practitioner. He also worked as a lecturer at Semmelweis University for 14 years. He also has experience in the pharmaceutical industry (Upjohn). He has been mentoring the Saline Process international network since 1999, helping Christian health workers align their work with their faith. Many missionaries have already received his medical help.

I am István Horváth, I serve with the Hungarian Evangelical Alliance and with OM. I got to know the Bartimeus Foundation’s mission in 2016. It is very attractive for me to see their brave stand for Christ, their faithfulness to the Bible and their willingness to share the Gospel. When a blind brother or sister shares his or her heart – joyfully speaking about the Light of the word and the life-giving heavenly hope – that always moves me. Whenever I get an invitation to help the Bartimeus ministry I joyfully go. So far, we have served on mission trips together, for example in Békés county (Hungary), in Transylvania and in the Hungarian speaking part of Ukraine. I am excited when I think about our future ministry together because I want to build God’s kingdom side-by-side with them.
