Summer camp

We organize our summer camps every year for blind people and their families, so that the participants can develop in a new environment, which is a bit far from their home, in an environment that is safe for them and effectively accessible by our fellow educators, almost unnoticed.

The camp provides an opportunity to activate the blind people, to involve them in various programs, to get to know their peers, and to develop and shape their knowledge and state of movement through leisure activities.

The location of the camp is always chosen in such a way as to provide a pleasant, safe environment for the implementation of the professional program of the camp, but also for a pleasant rest and relaxation.

The camp is usually built on 5 pillars:

Psychic confirmation, during which we could pray together, sing, and participate in short devotionals. We also spend a lot of time with personal conversations.

Music as a healing, therapeutic tool. Music and singing always come together during the time together. The musicianship is led by a music therapist.

Fine arts. Since most of the blind people are particularly fond of occupations in which they can make tangible, permanent objects for them, we also include several craft occupations in the programs.

Movement and common play. A regular daily program in the camp is swimming together, playing gymnastics and playing board games and card games.

Sports and hiking. Thanks to the help of our volunteers, the blind people have the opportunity to walk, move and run a lot, but the blind can also get acquainted with blind baseball.
